The definition of self-esteem is the way in how you see yourself. Imagine that a person often win a match without explanation or he or she loses despite how hard they try. Ok, it can be a little beyond than that. However, self-esteem is related to your outcomes through your life.
Self-esteem can make an individual raises his or her life rapidly. While the lack of it can make a person stay at the same level or even sinks more. In other words, self-esteem is an overall emotional thought about your own self. If you think whether you are great and able to do what you think yourself can do or not, at both thought you are right.
Once you understand how important self-esteem is for your life it can be a life-changing. You will see yourself with a different mindset, you will care more about the place you work. Also, be aware who surround you because all of this can directly or indirectly influence your life.
This is so important that is also correlated with your progress in life. Yes, that’s what I mean. Maybe you ask yourself: Why I stopped winning? Why am I not hitting that target? Or even that unconscious and frequent question: Why I hit a plateau?

You may be asked yourself one of those questions I stated above and wonder what is the real answer to your current situation. This is the watershed for those who want to change their lives and find happiness and find success. Did you know self-esteem is a roof for your accomplishments?
Yes, it is, and you have to always be focused on how your self-esteem is. If you are a happy person and with a high level of self-esteem, it will be easy to close that deal or even conquer the heart of that girl. However, if your self-esteem is low, you will be always sad, not caring about yourself and have a collection of failure and regrets.
The best and obvious way to increase your outcomes through your life is increasing your self-esteem. As higher it is, better is your results through your life. If you were in a bad situation and you overcome that despite the level it was. Your level of self-esteem was greater than that problem and you knew your value.
People who have a high level of self-esteem blame nobody and when they got surprised with problems which were hard, they don’t give up. Therefore, knowing their own value they make something to revert the situation.
You understand that self-esteem is an important icon in terms of building success in all terms. Remember you have to increase your level of self-esteem to make easy for yourself to reach that so dreamed goal.

People who have a high level of confidence are harder to be diminished. Even when they lose they come back and make sure they will have a second chance to win and stay there for a long period.
Those with a high level of confidence like to dominate where they are, not saying they are snobby, rather their hard work shows off their value. They don’t relax until they get what they want.
Conversely, people with a low level of confidence always have a sorry for everything. They are never the actor of their own lives, always living in the crowd or the audience of someone else.
Focused on strengths
People with a high level of self-esteem always focus on their strengths rather than weakness. A tiny guy knows that he will not be a recognised basketball player despite their self-esteem.
For example, if she or he has a stronger skill of communication, with the combination of self-esteem. They can build a strong level of sub-skill just having that strong skill of communication. Such as, become a high-level seller, a preacher, a well-recognized speaker and so on.
They know if they waste their time trying to do something they are not good at, they will have chances to hurt and decrease their esteem. I know that it is not a rule, but it is clear that a fish can not climb a tree; you know what I mean?
Never fear of failure
Those who have high self-esteem does not scare themselves with failure because they know they will win. People with a high level of self-esteem know if they fail they will come back and do it over again without suffering. They put all in and don’t care about others opinion.
People who don’t have a high self-esteem try not being prepared to fail. Failure is the number one to decrease self-esteem. When people play whatever it is without being prepared to fail despite they are pursuing victory. They are settling to decrease their self-esteem.
Failure is an IMPORTANT topic you have to care about. If you don’t know how to deal with failure and setbacks, sorry for that but you will suffer your entire life. A true statement is that those kids who were grown by their parents always listening that they will always be winners or “the life is always good” will become a snowflake when they reach the adult phase.
Winning is important but knowing how to deal with failure is much more important because failure is part of the winning proccess.
How to build your self-esteem?
So, here we are, you may ask, ok but I need to know how to build my self-esteem and stay motivated and increase my level of outcomes. My thought for self-esteem is based on pleasure. Pleasure is the way in how you can build your self-esteem in the long term.
Pleasure is something that is constantly correlated with your self-image, also as much as you get it, more you grow your self-esteem. I remember when I was studying this subject, and I came across this topic.
I simply found what I was looking for to start finding the real reason for my life. The simple way to start receiving and increasing your self-esteem is, whatever you are doing make sure you are receiving pleasure from it. You know why? Because your mind, brain and body are moved by running from pain to reach pleasure.
It is all about serotonin and dopamine, supposing someone said for you, “you are awesome today” from a person you like. The level of pleasure in your mind and body increases and you will be instantly happy. However, if you are used to staying in an environment that always you listen to words such as “I hate you” or “you are disgusting”. It will indirectly decrease your level of pleasure in your brain and body.
Therefore, what it all means in terms of self-esteem? Ok, being direct to the answer, you have to increase your level of indirect and direct pleasure to increase your self-esteem. Without it, you can do whatever you want but you will go anywhere.
There are many ways in how you can increase your self-esteem and receive more pleasure.
Care about your body and health
When you care about your body and health, the level of pleasure you will feel will be the best you ever have. I would encourage people with a low level of self-esteem to do that. It is amazing when other people see the changes you are doing in your body without needing to say anything.
Travel is one of the best ways of increasing your level of self-esteem. You will meet different people, different places, different foods, boosting your mind with wonders and tastes. Do it and see how they will change your level of humour and self-esteem.
Change your environment
You may work in a toxic place where anybody likes anyone or you are living in a town that is not good for you or your family. I like that quote: If you do not like where you are, move you are not a tree. So, if you are living in a place that makes you feel low and decrease your self-esteem wherever it is, for the love of god, run from it.
Stay with positive people
Stay with toxic people is not a good idea, toxic people are always complaining and saying bad things around them. People like this you have to stay miles away.
Do your best to stay with people who are in positive vibes that will always see good things around themselves.
It looks simple, but it is important in the long term. Choose those who will stay with you or you will pay the price with your self-esteem and health.
Use pleasure and self-esteem to stay long-term in a goal
This makes me so excited about pleasure and self-esteem. Most people who start a new year resolution don’t reach their goals. They start their gym telling they will change their bodies but in February they stop and never talk about this again. However, when they reach December they remember what they left and regretted.
What you have to do to stick with a goal long enough is simple, break that goal into simple and small tasks and make sure you will reach them. “Haa come on, I have heard that before!!” you may say, yes I agree but we have a secret behind it. When you are focusing on small tasks, it is much easier to receive pleasure from it.
Supposing you want to have a fitness body at the end of the year and you say you will do whatever it takes to reach it. You know what, it will be hard and you will give up when you do it if you never did it before and started too aggressive.
Talking about small tasks again, instead of settling a goal of staying 3 hours training, make a commitment to at least stay 20 min doing your best. It will give you a huge amount of pleasure, make yourself stay on the rail of your goal for a long period. After that, increase it for 40 minutes until you reach 1 hour and stay escalating.
I guarantee you will receive the pleasure to stay on track with your goal and your self-esteem will grow together.
These are the ideas I bring, for you prepare to increase your level of self-esteem. I did it and it helps me a lot. You have to care about yourself, but sometimes, although it is obvious it is neglected without not even be thought.
Remember your self-esteem is directly correlated with your success and if you are not caring about that, you will pay the price with your life and mental health. Do your best to change your life, go for a trip, begin your gym membership and start training again. Change your environment and start hanging out with positive people and you will see how your life will change.
